Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Toni Mauzer started the match with the kick off. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Siekierka, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th match minute, AKS Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Walczak to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrik Terzic during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Patrik Terzic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milosz Huk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilija Skugor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. When Dinko Stankovic came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinko Stankovic couldn't finish the play. Izydor Byczewski was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Toni Mauzer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Toni Mauzer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Neven Culina got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Mateusz Solecki made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Huk in the 33rd minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Stanislaw Miazga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilija Skugor skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, AKS Chorzów's Izydor Byczewski got control of the ball when Dinko Stankovic tried to sneak it across the goal line. Izydor Byczewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinko Stankovic in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Eduard Kostelac got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 47 minutes of play, AKS Chorzów's Aleksander Siekierka made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilija Skugor was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Milosz Huk to make the kick off. If Toni Mauzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Croatia's Patrik Terzic got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Patrik Terzic off the ground. 64 minutes into the game, Borys Chrobak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AKS Chorzów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Croatia the free kick. In the 66th minute, Stanislaw Miazga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ilija Skugor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislaw Miazga in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Huk in the 77th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislaw Miazga took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Croatia's Martin Bosak got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Siekierka in the 87th minute of the match. Aleksander Siekierka kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Dinko Stankovic came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinko Stankovic couldn't finish the play. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Croatia! In the 97th minute there was a penalty for AKS Chorzów. Milosz Huk stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ilija Skugor. 1-5.
