Casper Claes was a little too slow when Felippe Favoretto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Felippe Favoretto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Casper Claes. Felippe Favoretto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Olof Söderkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Casper Claes. That made the score 3-0 after 30 minutes of play. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Leandro Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Edward Vanderstraeten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leandro Macario quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 37 minutes into the match, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Felippe Favoretto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Cristian Chivu with Felippe Favoretto as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 43rd minute of the match, Olof Söderkvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Casper Claes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Felippe Favoretto made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's goalkeeper Leandro Macario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. In the 55th minute Felippe Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Vanderstraeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Macario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Söderkvist in the 64th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Favoretto in the 65th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Felippe Favoretto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jony Maidana took the corner. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Jony Maidana was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Casper Claes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 77 minutes into the match, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's goalkeeper Leandro Macario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Leandro Macario made a huge save. Leandro Macario was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Yves Dervaux capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yves Dervaux really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. After a defensive mix-up in DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Macario came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Leandro Macario in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 minutes, Cristian Chivu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 and the Belgium players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Cristian Chivu got a free kick in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Favoretto came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Jony Maidana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgium the free kick.
