Bernabe Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Growlithe FC's Bernabe Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 28th minute of play. Benito Galeno hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Sigfrido Auletta made a precise shot to the right of Bernabe Armani. Growlithe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bernabe Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, Italy's Porziano Marchitelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Armani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Palmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Growlithe FC's Bernabe Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Growlithe FC from getting a goal against them. Alexander Palmer took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Zaccheo Andolina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernabe Armani came out and tried to block the shot, but Zaccheo Andolina slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 80th minute. Italy made a substitution.
