52 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Mendes came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52ndth minute of the game Matías Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Izaltina FAD's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 79 minutes into the game, Felipinho Amorim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Alves. Felipinho Amorim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Manuel Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Bartolomeu Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
