ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sigfrido Auletta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Egun Zapico did a great save. After 13 played minutes ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Forsberg. Porziano Marchitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Egun Zapico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estevão Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Egun Zapico was a little too slow when Zaccheo Andolina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Gomberto Picozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 43rd minute of play forced ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goalkeeper Egun Zapico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estevão Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Italy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erkan Fişek took the corner. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egun Zapico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ made a substitution. Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan replaced Estevão Reis. Egun Zapico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egun Zapico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Sigfrido Auletta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Bora Oyum was substituted for Erkan Fişek. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olcay Orkun Gökekin in the 78th minute. In the 94th minute Adriano Curto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Zapico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Italy fully deserved thier win.
