Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rahim Niğdeli in the 17th minute of play. If Rahim Niğdeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute Rahim Niğdeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Büyükçekmece FC.'s zone, Siricio Liotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cihat Ecemiş came out of the goal and Siricio Liotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Büyükçekmece FC.'s Cihat Ecemiş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 28th minute of play. Rahim Niğdeli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. In the 30th minute of the match, Rahim Niğdeli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavio Vittori saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 32nd minute, Rahim Niğdeli made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Rahim Niğdeli came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigfrido Auletta kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Cihat Ecemiş in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cihat Ecemiş having to interfere. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahim Niğdeli in the 80th minute of play. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rahim Niğdeli went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Mikail Özil made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Zena Busacca. 93 minutes into the match, Büyükçekmece FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Curto came free, but Cihat Ecemiş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guiscardo Davide's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cihat Ecemiş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
