Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Adam Olaru started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 minutes of play, Romania's Costica Vladimiri made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Roberto Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zé Roberto Teixeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costica Vladimiri went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Zé Roberto Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Serban's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Vasile Ciumak made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alex Serban. In the 16th minute, Eugen Ionita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Playa Malvín were awarded a corner. Sandu Mândrilă went to the cornerflag to take it. Constantijn De Hond made a great header on Playa Malvín's corner, it was just that Romania's Carol Stinga managed to reach the ball for a save. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 21st minute of play. Carol Stinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Åkerström in the 22nd minute of the match. Carol Stinga came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Playa Malvín's Fred Åkerström. But to his dismay, Fred Åkerström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Adam Olaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Åkerström in the 49th minute of play. The Playa Malvín players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Romania were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Åkerström to make the kick off. Fred Åkerström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carol Stinga having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Adam Olaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romania's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Olaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Roberto Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Josu Onez replaced Jabier Igual. If Sesuldo Roque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85thth minute of the game Anton Stinga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romania were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Playa Malvín's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sanda Cutov took the corner. The corner led Romania's Vasile Ciumak to fire away a dangerous shot which Zé Roberto Teixeira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira got control of the ball when Octavian Vaduva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romania were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Playa Malvín's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sanda Cutov took the corner. Romania's Sanda Cutov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Romania left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Playa Malvín.
