In the 10thth minute of the game Loui Lintlav who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zaccheo Andolina struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ferdinand Thurø didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub's goalkeeper Ferdinand Thurø, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute of the match Italy got a corner. MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ferdinand Thurø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 30th minute. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loui Lintlav in the 35th minute of play. Loui Lintlav's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Eliseo Cutri kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loui Lintlav in the 44th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Ferdinand Thurø successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dobrilo Zečević hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Dobrilo Zečević fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinand Thurø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svante Hanmark kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Kaj-Åke Kaká threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Sostene Vitulli quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ferdinand Thurø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub's attentive Konrad Werra managed to snatch the ball when Eliseo Cutri made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. After 71 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Sigfrido Auletta. Ferdinand Thurø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loui Lintlav in the 76th minute of the match. A hard shot 80 in the game by Loui Lintlav from a close distance when the talented Flavio Vittori managed to make a qualified save. Italy's players were relieved.
