Bora Bora's Robin Mager got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Robin Mager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Malte Schiele a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Mager in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Kuse in the 34th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Robin Mager got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gabriel Holmstedt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Grubb in the 41st minute of play. Robin Mager scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Robin Mager made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bora Bora booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Robin Mager sent off a good shot on target. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Bora Bora were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Germany to leave the ground with a draw.
