If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Bora Bora's goal looked a bit too open when Hegedus Henrik came free, but Riccardo Hofer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Riccardo Hofer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 6th minute. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Grubb in the 8th minute of play. Riccardo Hofer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 12th minute of the match. Bora Bora's Riccardo Hofer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bora Bora from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 16 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Riccardo Hofer managed to make a qualified save. Bora Bora's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Robin Mager's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Major Barna sped through Bora Bora's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Riccardo Hofer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Grubb in the 57th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Robin Mager's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Riccardo Hofer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Bora Bora defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Riccardo Hofer. The Bora Bora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Riccardo Hofer should have stopped the shot. In the 91st match minute, Bora Bora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Holmstedt to maneuver through the defense. Riccardo Hofer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Hungary's Vörös Henrik seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vörös Henrik the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hungary protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vörös Henrik had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hungary fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! There was no doubt that Hungary were the better team. Hungary's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
