The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Colon was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Albano Austin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Carolo Colon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Albin Holweck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carolo Colon having to make a save. The Germany fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Germany's Frank Sachs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd play minute Frank Sachs came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carolo Colon. 2-3. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Germany players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Metapalo FC were winning 2-3.

After 73 played minutes Metapalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Roland. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Austin in the 88th minute of the match. Carolo Colon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tobias Damario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
