Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Piotr Gacek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quinito Rosas in the 5th minute. Quinito Rosas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. East Telde United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Piotr Gacek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Daniel Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llorenc Silvestre having to interfere. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Flores in the 20th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quinito Rosas in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Miranda during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Llorenc Silvestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 30th minute of play. The Portugal fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Portugal's Felipe Barreto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 39 minutes, Felipe Barreto made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. East Telde United's Llorenc Silvestre tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute, Quinito Rosas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute Piotr Gacek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Piotr Gacek made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llorenc Silvestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye East Telde United's goalie prevented a goal. After 60 minutes of play, East Telde United's Quinito Rosas made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinito Rosas in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Moura in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Llorenc Silvestre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 68 minutes, Daniel Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Pimentel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quinito Rosas's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Bruno Bastos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinito Rosas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Piotr Gacek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute of the match, Daniel Pimentel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Llorenc Silvestre was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Felipinho Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llorenc Silvestre having to interfere. After some careless play in the East Telde United defense, Bartolomeu Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Llorenc Silvestre. The East Telde United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Llorenc Silvestre should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 93rd minute of play forced East Telde United's goalkeeper Llorenc Silvestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
