Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Viriato Moura made the kick off which started today's match. Pipo Benedetto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pipo Benedetto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pepe Argento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pipo Benedetto in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Pipo Benedetto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pipo Benedetto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Pipo Benedetto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stat Veritas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. 28 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Mauricio Erramun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the game, Pipo Benedetto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim. Pipo Benedetto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. 35 minutes in the game Apolo Modestio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Charles-Antoine Dartiguelongue. 37 minutes in the game Bruno Bastos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Daniel Pimentel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipo Benedetto in the 44th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pipo Benedetto was the one to do the kick off. Stat Veritas FC's Pipo Benedetto got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauricio Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 63rd minute of play forced Stat Veritas FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Erramun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Stat Veritas FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Erramun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Stat Veritas FC's Roger Gili was substituted for Pepe Argento. In the 76th minute, Felipinho Amorim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauricio Erramun. The goal made the score 4-2. Felipinho Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Erramun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. The corner led to Portugal's Graciano Coutinho getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Mauricio Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 84th minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Gili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes of play, Stat Veritas FC's Roger Gili made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 91 played minutes Stat Veritas FC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Modestio. Stat Veritas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Felipinho Amorim scored to the left of an out of position Mauricio Erramun, making the score, 5-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stat Veritas FC.
