Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after KFC Paal-Tervant's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The corner ended in Wim Wilmes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens did a great save. After 6 minutes, Wim Wilmes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Davus in the 10th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Axel Davus sent off a good shot on target. Jose Verschelde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 16th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KFC Paal-Tervant's 林林光 got a free kick in the 17th minute. Freddy Tilens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by KFC Paal-Tervant's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that David Eikelkamp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Freddy Tilens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Freddy Tilens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 26th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Davus in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Axel Davus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Tilens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Tilens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Davus to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freddy Tilens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 58th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shaun McLae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Freddy Tilens threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Tilens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Davus in the 72nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Davus in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 minutes of play, KFC Paal-Tervant's Shaun McLae made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustaaf Groeneveldt had several of the KFC Paal-Tervant's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Freddy Tilens as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 84th minute, Mathijn Doctor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Bas Tuitert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Paal-Tervant the free kick. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Shaun McLae, made in the 90th minute of the game. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KFC Paal-Tervant throughout the match.
