In the 47th minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Freddy Tilens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 52nd minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Axel Davus sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the game, 林林光 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Paal-Tervant's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 67th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaun McLae in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Tilens was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shaun McLae in the 76th minute of play. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Tilens. KFC Paal-Tervant's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Freddy Tilens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 83rd minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijn Doctor to maneuver through the defense. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Freddy Tilens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Netherlands had played much better football throughout.
