In the 2nd minute Lech Pisarcik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Santio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Santio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliks Wojton in the 3rd minute of the match. Artur Boruc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dariusz Fenigsen's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. !HalaMadrid!'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jilian De Schutter in the 18th minute. After 22 played minutes !HalaMadrid! got a freekick which was hit by Jilian De Schutter. Poland's Lech Pisarcik shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ruperto Santio but with some difficulty. Feliks Wojtons short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Ruperto Santio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes into the match, Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Treppa came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Santio was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Herbert Grom capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Herbert Grom really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Pier Kopacz might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruperto Santio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pier Kopacz ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dariusz Fenigsen made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariasz Ptaszek came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witalis Treppa got free with Artur Boruc in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Poland fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Poland's Lech Pisarcik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Pisarcik in the 61st minute of play forced !HalaMadrid!'s goalkeeper Ruperto Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Fenigsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Poland's Feliks Wojton managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zachariasz Ptaszek in the 91 minute of the game. Marek Czech blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruperto Santio having to make a save. After 93 played minutes !HalaMadrid! got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Soroka. Poland walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
