Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Preslav Chernaev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Хан Крум Страшни's Preslav Chernaev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 13th minute of play. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Viktor Beykov scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 3-0. The supporters of Germany booed when Хан Крум Страшни was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitar Meranzov didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Yanko Kenanov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Preslav Chernaev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Хан Крум Страшни's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Germany's Linus Schwerner getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Avgust Momchilov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 37th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Klimentov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Preslav Chernaev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Хан Крум Страшни's Dido Harizanov was substituted for Stanyo Kulichev. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albin Holweck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Preslav Chernaev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Preslav Chernaev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lin Sha Hong came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Хан Крум Страшни fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lin Sha Hong couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Yanko Kenanov notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Stanko Dosholov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 88 minutes into the match, Хан Крум Страшни's goalkeeper Preslav Chernaev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lin Sha Hong in the 96th minute of the match. Хан Крум Страшни walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
