Wellington de Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Wellington de Almeida in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Segio, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Durvalino Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Armando Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mayhem Sharks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. The supporters of Germany booed when Mayhem Sharks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wellington de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. Durvalino Carneiro took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 27th minute, Frank Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. Paulo José Garcia hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Germany's Frank Sachs tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Armando Fernandes got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Durvalino Carneiro. After a rather tough play, Mayhem Sharks's Durvalino Carneiro got a free kick in the 39th minute. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Wellington de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wellington de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Durvalino Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Paulo José Garcia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Dias to strike the kick off in the second half. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Narciso Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Marcelino Segio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayhem Sharks's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Segio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Dreifuss charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Dreifuss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mayhem Sharks's Kauan Dionísio was substituted for Denílson Cerezo. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Narciso Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Fernandes was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 74th minute, Armando Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wellington de Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Narciso Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wellington de Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 88th minute. It was a well-played corner which Janik Vogt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 89 minutes into the match, Germany's Janik Vogt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wellington de Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 90 minutes Mayhem Sharks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Frank Sachs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wellington de Almeida quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janik Vogt in the 90th minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Wellington de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 92nd minute of the match. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Wellington de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 97 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Despite being the better team, Germany failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
