Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Per Finman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oskars Glada Gäng's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Finman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Finman in the 16th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes, Fu Shu Xuan made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Slovakia's Henrich Slany tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. André Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metod Mlynar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Oliver Holub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Gustafsson having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Oskars Glada Gäng's Pelle Forsberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrich Slany. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 29th minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Per Finman suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zigmund Maliar during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oskars Glada Gäng made a substitution. Michael Dahlbom replaced Per Finman. In the 33rd match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zigmund Maliar to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, one of Slovakia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Metod Mlynar took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Gustafsson. André Gustafsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After taking down the ball on Slovakia's corner Pavol Koleno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and André Gustafsson quite easily take care of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Erland Vinström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Slovakia's Henrich Slany didn't even have to move. Peter Kielstedt made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Michael Dahlbom however managed to control. The audience thought a goal was coming when Metod Mlynar got free with André Gustafsson in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Metod Mlynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Dahlbom in the 76th minute of the match. Kornel Jahoda kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Fu Shu Xuan put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Henrich Slany. After a defensive mix-up in Oskars Glada Gäng's zone, Metod Mlynar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Gustafsson came out of the goal and Metod Mlynar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
