Match Report

9-12-2018
Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0)
Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isidro Llorian started the match with the kick off. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Johans in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Linus Schwerner threw the ball into play from the sideline. Napoleón 2018's Esteve Argina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 7 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Linus Schwerner. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 13th minute. Tommy Kahn had great luck who in the 15thth minute grab hold of the ball when Saturnino Johans from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmílson Veloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Prudencio Gai charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prudencio Gai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Germany booed when Napoleón 2018 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Gai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germany were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Napoleón 2018's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. 22 minutes into the match, Napoleón 2018's Saturnino Johans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. After 25 played minutes, Napoleón 2018's Gregorio Garoa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Kahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Napoleón 2018 reached it. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Johans in the 29th minute of the match. Edmílson Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifacio Santalla made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Prudencio Gai immediately put the ball in play. 33 minutes into the match, Saturnino Johans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Johans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 36 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Edmílson Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Isidro Llorian tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Saturnino Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Llorian hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Edmílson Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Silvério Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Germany's Frank Sachs tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 56 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Linus Schwerner. Edmílson Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jero Rivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 67th minute of play forced Napoleón 2018's goalkeeper Edmílson Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Napoleón 2018's Esteve Argina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Linus Schwerner in the 69 minute of the game. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Jero Rivera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jero Rivera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Johans, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Saturnino Johans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Janik Vogt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Napoleón 2018 the free kick. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Germany! Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Johans, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Jero Rivera notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Napoleón 2018 had won after a very even match.
