Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ventzislav Glavev in the 5th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ventzislav Glavev, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 20 minutes Belasitsa P's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt to fire away a dangerous shot which Gruyo Popiliev despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Belasitsa P was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillelme Câmpeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gruyo Popiliev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belasitsa P's goalkeeper Gruyo Popiliev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 30th minute of play forced Belasitsa P's goalkeeper Gruyo Popiliev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gruyo Popiliev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 35th minute, Mathijn Doctor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 庄骏翀. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Ventzislav Glavev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-1. Arnout Reekers acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vladko Antov. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Ventzislav Glavev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gruyo Popiliev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute 庄骏翀 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lars Meesters came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Meesters couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ventzislav Glavev, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gruyo Popiliev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Vladko Antov in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor. With his leg Gruyo Popiliev managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Netherlands's Wim Wilmes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Belasitsa P's 庄骏翀 in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal.
