Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antal Valentin kicked off to start the match. Lajos Vadász took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hegedus Henrik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Club A. Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lajos Vadász showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Henric in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Emilio Henric sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. In the 16th match minute, Club A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Shtapov to maneuver through the defense. Lajos Vadász made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play. If Emilio Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Szekeres Tamas got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Hegedus Henrik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club A. Independiente's Lajos Vadász was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Henric, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The supporters of Hungary booed when Club A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Antal Valentin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lajos Vadász showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lajos Vadász. Club A. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Henric made a kick off. Balazs Lajos struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Lajos Vadász didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Vladimir Shtapov kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Takacs Tibor came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takacs Tibor couldn't finish the play. Takacs Tibor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lajos Vadász read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Club A. Independiente's Lajos Vadász proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Club A. Independiente from getting a goal against them. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Henric in the 66th minute of play. Lajos Vadász made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Emilio Henric took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Lajos Vadász however easily saved by the left post. In the 86th minute Emilio Henric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club A. Independiente's Lajos Vadász proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Club A. Independiente from getting a goal against them. Antal Valentin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Hungary's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
