Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pauliström's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute, Ingvar Johansson made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Folke Melin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. After 26 played minutes Pauliström got a freekick which was hit by Max Hjortsberg. Frank Sachs took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Malcolm Wall. Malcolm Wall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Johansson in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Johansson in the 33rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Johansson in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Ingvar Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Max Hjortsberg notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Johansson in the 42nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Johansson came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Bengt-Åke Biörk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pauliström's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. The supporters of Germany booed when Pauliström was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Biörk didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Folke Melin to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Melin came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Pauliström's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Linus Schwerner got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Malcolm Wall quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Melin, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Pauliström getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Biörk hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Malcolm Wall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Sachs in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Malcolm Wall, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 82nd minute, Bengt-Åke Biörk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Pauliström's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
