Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Kerteminde Boldklub's Niko Grønby started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Nicolaus Kizlich came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Kerteminde Boldklub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolaus Kizlich couldn't finish the play. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niko Grønby in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Kerteminde Boldklub getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gerhard Guldager hit a great ball. If Niko Grønby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Rudi Nelander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kerteminde Boldklub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Jimmy Smedgaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kerteminde Boldklub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scotland the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert McNeill during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Gerhard Guldager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haakon Haarbøl hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Fletcher Main hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Robert McNeill. When Ayaan McGowan fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scotland's protests and gave Ayaan McGowan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Scotland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ayaan McGowan to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Zac O'Donnell made the kick off in the second half. Alexander Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niko Grønby went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niko Grønby in the 63rd minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Niko Grønby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scotland's Alexander Higgins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, Nicolaus Kizlich made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Fletcher Main received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Eberhardt Osted tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Fletcher Main shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eberhardt Osted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert McNeill was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the match was over Kerteminde Boldklub could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Scotland throughout the match.
