The Switzerland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 9 minutes, Raşit Ortunc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Turko and the Switzerland players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Turko got a freekick which was hit by Raşit Ortunc. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsrafil Sözen in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves İsrafil Sözen could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Hias Nüssli however easily saved by the left post. İsrafil Sözens short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Hias Nüssli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Temel Özgunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Rodrigo von Känel hit a great ball. Hias Nüssli was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Varol Mehdi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Varol Mehdi really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 48 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when İsrafil Sözen came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İsrafil Sözen was the one to do the kick off. If Varol Mehdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Switzerland's zone, Varol Mehdi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal and Varol Mehdi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuele Kunz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuele Kunz got free with Hipolito Kaxen in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Temel Özgunes struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turko. Hipolito Kaxen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuele Kunz in the 69th minute. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsrafil Sözen in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, İsmail Durul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Turko and the Switzerland players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Turko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Durul to maneuver through the defense. Samuele Kunz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute İsrafil Sözen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Wiesendanger kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Levi von Herren lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 96 minutes into the game, one of Switzerland:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Turko support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
