In the 6th minute, CAM Football Club's Dario Leheren seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dario Leheren the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CAM Football Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dario Leheren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in CAM Football Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! 10 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CAM Football Club's Martin Theodore. Martin Theodore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, CAM Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Porziano Marchitelli came free, but Martin Theodore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Idacio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 21st minute of play forced CAM Football Club's goalkeeper Martin Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Apolo Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Flavio Vittori managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when CAM Football Club's Teofilo Kelemen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 36 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Italy's Zaccheo Andolina fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Bernabe Llorienzo took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 46th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Theodore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilo Kelemen made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 59th minute of play forced CAM Football Club's goalkeeper Martin Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Theodore. Martin Theodore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. CAM Football Club made a substitution. Angelo Isusko replaced Apolo Bikendi. CAM Football Club made a substitution. Santiago Marquez replaced Teofilo Kelemen. CAM Football Club's Simon Izel was substituted for Arnaldo Idacio. CAM Football Club's Martin Theodore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save CAM Football Club from getting a goal against them. Sakis Prasidis made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. The throw-in from Sakis Prasidis in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. CAM Football Club's Martin Theodore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save CAM Football Club from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the CAM Football Club defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Theodore. The CAM Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Theodore should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porziano Marchitelli got free with Martin Theodore in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of CAM Football Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Italy:s goal. With a little luck, CAM Football Club's Martin Theodore got control of the ball when Adriano Curto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, CAM Football Club's Wilfredo Gelmiro got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Italy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
