Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edvard Gråberg got the match started through his kick off. Stanislaw Turacki kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 4th minute of play. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emerson Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Celsinho Cerezo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Emerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 17th minute of the match. Emerson Leão came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Celsinho Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Coutinho in the 22nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes São Paulo Leste F.C. got a freekick which was hit by David Coutinho. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celsinho Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domenico Palma during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to São Paulo Leste F.C. getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Domenico Palma hit a great ball. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Leão having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Edvard Gråberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Fodor Daniel to make any attempt to save it. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Coutinho in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Hungary's Balazs Norbert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emerson Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Balazs Norbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Balazs Norbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Gråberg came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Balazs Norbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. After 65 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Hegedus Henrik. In the 66th minute of the match Maximilian Mellberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fodor Daniel skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Emerson Leão got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Cerezo in the 82nd minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Cerezo in the 85th minute of the match. David Coutinho hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
