Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alvaro Sforza took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Sforza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horia Nasta made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. 9 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Cristoforo Brillante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Brillante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Richard Askelöf. In the 20th minute, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of AC Roma:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Italy:s goal. Sigfrido Auletta shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 32 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Cristoforo Brillante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 39th minute, Zaccheo Andolina made a precise shot to the right of Cristoforo Brillante. AC Roma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 43 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Sforza came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Sforza made a kick off. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flavio Vittori was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alvaro Sforza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 60 minute of play. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Brillante having to interfere. A collision led to AC Roma getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Richard Askelöf hit a great ball. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 70th minute of play. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 73rd minute of play. AC Roma's Fabiano Di Rocco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eliseo Cutri in the 80 minute of the game. Alvaro Sforza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Cristoforo Brillante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Della Francesca hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Cristoforo Brillante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 92nd minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
