An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 17th minute of play forced Los Guacho Pistola's goalkeeper Rodrigo Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Los Guacho Pistola's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Rodrigo Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Libertad came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Toribio made a huge save. Rodrigo Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 58th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Libertad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Blagovest Deykov made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor. In the 95th minute, Laureano Avellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
