In the 22nd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Gustaw Nowak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Netherlands's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tristan Lannister fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 28th minute José Pedro Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Stig-Arne Soned got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 42nd minute, David Eikelkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Zbyszek Le Bonniec hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszek Le Bonniec to maneuver through the defense. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristan Lannister in the 54th minute of play. Gustaw Nowak came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored to the left of an out of position Gustaw Nowak, making the score, 0-2. With a little luck, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wim Wilmes 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 77th minute of play. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
