Bebeto Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 25th minute of play forced BRC WeeD Dogs's goalkeeper Henry Van Herendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. BRC WeeD Dogs's Henry Van Herendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Sidney Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 44th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Devos to maneuver through the defense. BRC WeeD Dogs's João Augusto Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Henry Van Herendael. BRC WeeD Dogs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind BRC WeeD Dogs's goalkeeper Henry Van Herendael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by BRC WeeD Dogs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. Thanks to some nice moves Edward Vanderstraeten could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Henry Van Herendael however easily saved by the left post. In the 89th minute, one of BRC WeeD Dogs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BRC WeeD Dogs. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Belgium. Edward Vanderstraeten stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Henry Van Herendael. 3-5. BRC WeeD Dogs made a substitution. Eduardo Beltrami replaced Sidney Pimenta. The Belgium supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belgium would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
