The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Fc Meremõisa's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Vaht came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Fc Meremõisa's Roland Vaht got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roland Vaht, 1-3. Netherlands played a much better game than Fc Meremõisa and deserved their victory. The Fc Meremõisa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
