Portugal's Viriato Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Galati Harbour Cats's zone, Viriato Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Soare came out of the goal and Viriato Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavian Soare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Soare. Galati Harbour Cats's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Octavian Soare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavian Soare was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Ovidiu Pandrea made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Shi Li immediately put the ball in play. Shi Li blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Shi Li sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ianis Man in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Li in the 56th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shi Li's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The referee showed Daniel Pimentel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Galati Harbour Cats booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shi Li took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Portugal made a substitution. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galati Harbour Cats. In the 90th minute, Shi Li left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galati Harbour Cats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. The supporters of Portugal booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Zdrobiş didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Galati Harbour Cats had won after a very even match.
