Cezary Kaczeniak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vörös Henrik's late challenge caught a Edwardów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vörös Henrik helped the player get up and apologised. If Franciszek Sadlowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute of the match, Franciszek Sadlowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fodor Daniel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cezary Kaczeniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Franciszek Sadlowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezary Kaczeniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Antal Valentin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th match minute, Edwardów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Pietrowski to maneuver through the defense. Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play. When Iwo Imbor fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edwardów's protests and gave Iwo Imbor a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Franciszek Sadlowski sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cezary Kaczeniak saved Edwardów from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cezary Kaczeniak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th match minute, Edwardów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Pietrowski to maneuver through the defense. Edwardów's Andrzej Damaski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Szekeres Tamas in the 37 minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Franciszek Sadlowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
