But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siricio Liotta couldn't finish the play. Luiz Eduardo Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wen Xing took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Vittori. Italy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

51 minutes into the match, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Luiz Eduardo Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Miguel Breckenfeld, made in the 61st minute of the game. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 62nd minute of play. Miguel Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Breckenfeld. 69 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Eduardo Gomes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. Porziano Marchitelli made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Gomes managed to reach the ball for a save. Italy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
