Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Urmas Känsäkangas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 10th minute, Takacs Tibor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's Xavier Goossens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The SK Gullegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urmas Känsäkangas should have stopped the shot. Xavier Goossens charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Louis Jamieson was slow to take the kick. During this time SK Gullegem's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SK Gullegem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Urmas Känsäkangas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. In the 53rd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. SK Gullegem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Takacs Tibor made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that SK Gullegem's Urmas Känsäkangas managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Takacs Tibor in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urmas Känsäkangas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes in the game, Takacs Tibor dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Urmas Känsäkangas made a huge save. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 59th minute. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Urmas Känsäkangas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 67th minute of play. SK Gullegem's Urmas Känsäkangas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save SK Gullegem from getting a goal against them. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Urmas Känsäkangas in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Benedicto Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SK Gullegem's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urmas Känsäkangas came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bram Jamieson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
