Adrian Orzaize recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Ferran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Ferran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Aranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Luciano Ferran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 21st minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ur Cabral sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Ur Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 27th minute of play forced Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goalkeeper Luciano Ferran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Ferran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Lionel-Andrés Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's supporters rose to their feet, but Lionel-Andrés Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ascaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lionel-Andrés Messias in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Ascaso saved Spain from getting behind. Luciano Ferran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Lionel-Andrés Messias made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Luciano Ferran got control of the ball when Omar Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Orzaize in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lionel-Andrés Messias in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ascaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute of the match, Vicente Merino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luciano Ferran was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adrian Orzaize received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gabriel Ascaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Ferran made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Omar Toledo sent off a good shot on target. When Spain's Adria Bielsa in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goalie prevented a goal. David Aranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Luciano Ferran made a huge save. Spain made a substitution. Carles Cherro replaced Omar Toledo. Spain were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Sαηgrε Azuɭ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adria Bielsa took the corner. The corner led Spain's Adria Bielsa to fire away a dangerous shot which Luciano Ferran despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Adria Bielsa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Luciano Ferran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lionel-Andrés Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gabriel Ascaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. If Ur Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sαηgrε Azuɭ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Spain had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
