In the 17th minute Luiz Guilherme Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rafael Sobis sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Frank Sachs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Nilson do Vale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nilson do Vale was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Sachs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Luiz Guilherme Varela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. The wind increased when Rafael Sobis made the kick off in the second half. In the 92nd minute, Rafael Sobis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 95th minute, Rafael Sobis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Nilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bandelocos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
