Fidel Garrido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Hias Nüssli made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Federico Wiesendanger got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Jacinto Maurer fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Switzerland's protests and gave Jacinto Maurer a yellow card for diving instead. Jacinto Maurer kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Blai Vadillos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuele Kunz in the 37th minute of play. If Oro Cameno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goalkeeper Blai Vadillos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Racing Rocafort C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manolo Macia didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jacinto Maurer hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With his leg Blai Vadillos managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Switzerland's Samuele Kunz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Switzerland's Samuele Kunz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blai Vadillos. That made the score 0-1 after 59 minutes of play. In the 62nd minute, Samuele Kunz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Samuele Kunz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Blai Vadillos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Samuele Kunz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blai Vadillos having to interfere. Jacinto Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Blai Vadillos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Oro Cameno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Oro Cameno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Samuele Kunz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blai Vadillos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 92nd minute, Jacinto Maurer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Blai Vadillos managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Switzerland's Samuele Kunz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
