After 17 played minutes, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vicky Donda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Italy reached it. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Söderqvist in the 18th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Tord Söderqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Söderqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Porziano Marchitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicky Donda having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicky Donda was left in no man's land by his defense there! A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Marcos Senesi with Lajos Szatmári as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Tord Söderqvist made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicky Donda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Vicky Donda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 59th minute of the match. Vicky Donda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sigfrido Auletta went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicky Donda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 90th minute of play forced ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Vicky Donda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Guiscardo Davide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
