After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Gustav Iseli got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Válter Terra came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the TRAKINAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válter Terra couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Switzerland's Samuele Kunz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adhemar Rodrigues. That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Adhemar Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Switzerland were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after TRAKINAS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Samuele Kunz took the corner. 41 minutes into the match, TRAKINAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuele Kunz came free, but Adhemar Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Oliveira in the 43rd minute of play. Válter Terra struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TRAKINAS FC. Samuele Kunz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Adhemar Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuele Kunz was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válter Terra. Adhemar Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuele Kunz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Switzerland's Samuele Kunz tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in TRAKINAS FC's zone, Rodrigo von Känel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adhemar Rodrigues came out of the goal and Rodrigo von Känel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Switzerland booed when TRAKINAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Oliveira in the 85th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Fridolin Neumeister managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Jeferson Quintal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. After 94 played minutes TRAKINAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Quintal. Gustav Iseli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Rodrigues having to interfere. Switzerland's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
