Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Gentil in the 3rd minute of play. Espen Siticum hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wladimir Vinthen saved The Potters from getting behind. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by The Potters's Diego Gentil. But to his dismay, Diego Gentil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Frank Sachs sped through The Potters's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wladimir Vinthen. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Gentil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Gentil in the 30th minute of play. Wladimir Vinthen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 34th minute of play. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wladimir Vinthen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Frank Sachs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wladimir Vinthen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wladimir Vinthen having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 44th minute of play forced The Potters's goalkeeper Wladimir Vinthen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luca Langoni. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The Potters's Diego Gentil got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Diego Gentil put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Luca Langoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Holmbro in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Langoni came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Potters's Luca Langoni got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chris Mergenthaler might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wladimir Vinthen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chris Mergenthaler ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Holmbro in the 73rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Alexander Holmbro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Potters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Holmbro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wladimir Vinthen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Wladimir Vinthen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Gentil in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Gentil came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Diego Gentil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Gentil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Espen Siticum hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that The Potters were the better team. The Potters's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
