Zsigmond Kállai made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Peletier during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 7 minutes into the match, Bayern München FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Mátyás Baróti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mátyás Baróti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
