Antonio Giorgio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Giorgio having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Antonio Giorgio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Giorgio having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Iztal came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Giorgio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Iztal in the 26th minute of play. Anton Erkmann kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Pär Sigfridsson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Giorgio saved Bayern Boliviano from getting behind. Ignatius Abancens kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ramon Iztal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Bayern Boliviano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joannes Focquier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Rudkvist. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Antonio Giorgio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Iztal, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Giorgio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes Bayern Boliviano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Håkan Rudkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Iztal in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 81st minute of play forced Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Antonio Giorgio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Giorgio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Netherlands were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
