Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naohiro Takahara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 4th minute of play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 6th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 10th minute of play. Silvestre Cisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frontera AFC's Naohiro Takahara got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvestre Cisco was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Cisco in the 50th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Frontera AFC from getting a goal against them. Major Barna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agustín Rossi came out and tried to block the shot, but Major Barna slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 56th minute. Frontera AFC made a substitution. Gonzalo Pacifico replaced Celso Betadur. In the 64th minute Naohiro Takahara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Frontera AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
