Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Sachs took the kick off in the first half of the match. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grzegorz Kicia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Leonard Popowicz took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 9 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Popowicz. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Germany's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leonard Popowicz 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Dominik Tarasek kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Grzegorz Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to RW AHLEN-KNURÓW getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Radowit Budrewicz hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Leonard Popowicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 41st minute Leonard Popowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Popowicz.

After 50 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Leonard Popowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chris Mergenthaler's late challenge caught a RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Mergenthaler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Grzegorz Kicia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Grzegorz Kicia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Popowicz in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Leonard Popowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Popowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonard Popowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonard Popowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Popowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Popowicz in the 72nd minute of play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Grzegorz Kicia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Leonard Popowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Grzegorz Kicia made a huge save. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Popowicz in the 89th minute of play. Chris Mergenthaler was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 95th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
