Vincent Van Gogh started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Van Gogh to maneuver through the defense. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Filipe Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Fabricio Andrade hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Vincent Van Gogh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Vincent Van Gogh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Filipe Meireles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vincent Van Gogh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Van Gogh came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Filipe Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Bartlomiej Gotfryd in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Caetano Moreira. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Filipe Meireles managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Portugal's Felipe Barreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Filipe Meireles threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viriato Moura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A sloppy throw-in by Bartlomiej Gotfryd in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. In the 74th minute Paolo Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Cucao in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th minute of the match KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remigiusz Galagan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bartlomiej Gotfryd kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Bartlomiej Gotfryd made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Felipinho Amorim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Filipe Meireles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Felipinho Amorim put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Filipe Meireles. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Caetano Moreira got a free kick in the 94th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
