A collision led to Capivariano F.C. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Nestor Dante hit a great ball. Germany's Linus Schwerner quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Oswaldo Damião, made in the 9th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Capivariano F.C.'s Leonardo Moreira. Leonardo Moreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Leonardo Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. 17 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 23 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Leonardo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Linus Schwerner in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Capivariano F.C.'s Nestor Dante. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Leonardo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Capivariano F.C.'s Leonardo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Chris Mergenthaler notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Capivariano F.C.'s Leonardo Moreira. Leonardo Moreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Leonardo Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Moreira saved Capivariano F.C. from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Leonardo Moreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. Frank Sachs took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Moreira. Leonardo Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Capivariano F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Frank Sachs scored to the left of an out of position Leonardo Moreira, making the score, 0-6. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Moreira having to interfere. Albin Holweck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonardo Moreira came out and tried to block the shot, but Albin Holweck slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 83rd minute. In the 91st minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Moreira. Capivariano F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. When the match was over Germany could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Capivariano F.C. throughout the match.
