With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Chris-George Chevalier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niculae Ailenei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Chris-George Chevalier in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wilson Amorim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caetano Moreira during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Caetano Moreira hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Navarro in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the game, Chevaliers FC's Cristinel Pandele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Navarro came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niculae Ailenei saved Chevaliers FC from getting behind. In the 31st minute Nikola Vlašić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Pimentel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Navarro in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Chevaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Niculae Ailenei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Vlašić in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute, Cristinel Pandele reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Chevalier went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Niculae Ailenei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niculae Ailenei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 73rd minute. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Navarro went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Chevaliers FC's Niculae Ailenei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 84th minute of play. Niculae Ailenei made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Caetano Moreira sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Antonio Navarro notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute of the match, Bartolomeu Dias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Niculae Ailenei saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 90th minute, Peter Bagge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bartolomeu Dias hit a great ball. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Niculae Ailenei made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Chevalier in the 94th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipinho Amorim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niculae Ailenei came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipinho Amorim slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chevaliers FC fully deserved thier win.
