The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bayern Boliviano's Antonio Giorgio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Bayern Boliviano from getting a goal against them. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Iztal in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, Bayern Boliviano's Antonio Giorgio got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Siebe Michiels got a free kick in the 16th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Antonio Giorgio made a huge save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bayern Boliviano's goalie and right to Simon Sabbe. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bayern Boliviano's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Dervaux got free with Antonio Giorgio in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Rudkvist came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bayern Boliviano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Belgium's corner Lenny Clocheret fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antonio Giorgio quite easily take care of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Rudkvist came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignatius Abancens in the 31st minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Antonio Giorgio in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Iztal in the 40th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Edward Vanderstraeten could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Antonio Giorgio however easily saved by the left post. Bayern Boliviano's Antonio Giorgio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Bayern Boliviano from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramon Iztal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laurens Vandamme's late challenge caught a Bayern Boliviano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laurens Vandamme helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Laurens Vandamme got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Antonio Giorgio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Antonio Giorgio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute Ramon Iztal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match, Ramon Iztal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Casper Claes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ramon Iztal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayern Boliviano's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Iztal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Håkan Rudkvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Casper Claes. Belgium's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Siebe Michiels blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Giorgio having to make a save. Antonio Giorgio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 73rd minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Giorgio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Giorgio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Bayern Boliviano's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Antonio Giorgio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Nigel Devos got a free kick in the 86th minute. Bayern Boliviano made a substitution. Felipe Abendano replaced Joannes Focquier. The supporters of Bayern Boliviano booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nigel Devos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Ramon Iztal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayern Boliviano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Iztal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belgium's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
